Plancton Marino

Fitoplancton Marino, located in the Bay of Cádiz, is a highly equipped company for the production of microalgae thanks to its advanced technological systems and highly qualified personnel. The company covers the needs of the aquaculture, aquarophilia, cosmetics, food and human nutrition markets. In 2008, it began working in collaboration with Angel León, the Chef of the Sea, in order to obtain authorisation for a freeze-dried microalgae product, as a sea flavour enhancer. In 2014 they obtained authorisation for the production and marketing of this food for human consumption, under the brand name Plancton Marino Veta la Palma.

Suralgas

Located in the town of Vejer de la Frontera, Suralgas sells organic seaweed from the estuaries or marshes of the Bay of Cádiz, mainly to the food and catering channels. The seaweed is treated and purified for direct consumption, fresh, salted or dehydrated; they also produce products such as seaweed picos or cheeses. Suralgas is committed to the responsible use of natural resources, with a philosophy of sustainability, thus maintaining a balanced ecosystem. It develops its activity in Cádiz natural parks under Marca Parque Natural.
